The digital platform \u201crollbnb\u201d (hereinafter, the \u201cPlatform\u201d) is operated by: Hereinafter, \u201crollbnb,\u201d acting as the controller of personal data processing in accordance with Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life<\/strong> and other applicable regulations in Chile.<\/p>\n This Privacy Policy (hereinafter, the \u201cPolicy\u201d) governs the processing of personal data of users who access, register for, or use the Platform, either as Hosts<\/strong> or Renters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n By using the Platform, creating an account, submitting data through forms, or communicating with rollbnb, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted this Policy and authorizes the processing of their personal data as set forth herein, without prejudice to any other specific consents that may be requested for certain purposes.<\/p>\n rollbnb may collect and process the following categories of personal data, as applicable depending on how the user uses the Platform:<\/p>\n a) Full name. a) Driver\u2019s license data (number, class, issuing country, expiration date), when necessary to validate driving eligibility. a) IP address. 4. Purposes of Processing<\/h2>\n
\n4.2. To manage vehicle bookings, including communications between Hosts and Renters and sending confirmations, modifications, or cancellations.
\n4.3. To process payments, charges, commissions, and settlements associated with the use of the Platform.
\n4.4. To prevent and detect fraud, identity impersonation, misuse, or unlawful activities related to the Platform.
\n4.5. To comply with legal, regulatory, administrative, tax, or other obligations applicable to rollbnb, as well as to respond to duly grounded requests from competent authorities.
\n4.6. To improve the operation, security, performance, and user experience of the Platform through usage analysis and aggregated or anonymized metrics, when applicable.
\n4.7. To send essential communications for account and service management (e.g., changes to Terms and Conditions, security alerts, relevant booking information).
\n4.8. To send commercial or promotional communications about rollbnb only when authorized by the user and in accordance with applicable rules on commercial communications and personal data.<\/p>\n5. Legal Bases for Processing<\/h2>\n
\nb) Consent:<\/strong> the user provides express and informed consent when registering, using the Platform, or accepting certain features.
\nc) Compliance with legal obligations:<\/strong> processing is necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, consumer protection, or other obligations applicable to rollbnb.
